Audiovisual Board Room for Wayne Township MSD |
Wayne Township Metropolitan School District conducts board meetings regularly with the public. As a large district, meetings have to accommodate a big audience and members of the press.
To make meetings as efficient as possible, the district had a custom-designed board room built with a large projection screen, an audio system for amplifying board speakers, and a set of flat-panel displays so board members could see the image on the screen behind them. The District has a policy of keeping recordings of the meetings. To ensure all proceedings are recorded, microphones are used to capture the voices of people in the audience as well.
According to Paul Kreitel, who manages the facility, "This is a complicated installation. Several different vendors tried to get it all to work but nobody else could do it." Mr. Kreitel called ESCO due to their advanced expertise in complex systems. "ESCO came in and found a way to get all the devices to work right and get them talking with each other."
As a result, Mr. Kreitel hired ESCO to manage another complex project for his district - an advanced audio/video system for a large gymnasium.
According to I/T manager Pete Just, ESCO sets themselves apart with their advanced expertise. "We have internal experts who can do a lot of technical work, but when we needed more expertise, we brought in ESCO. They were able to get all the separate parts, installed by 3 other vendors, to actually work together like they were supposed to. Nobody else could handle it."
Mr. Kreitel is pleased with ESCO's results: "We tried three other vendors, but only ESCO found a way to make it work right. They've been doing great work for us!" |

Ben Davis High School
Indianapolis, IN
"Esco impressed us when we were given the challenge of preparing for a pivotal convocation that required an AV solution in the Ben Davis Gymnasium. They mobilized the resources necessary to create a winning solution in a very challenging space. We now have a flexible and functional solution that will meet a number of future needs for our students and staff. For the investment in this projection system we essentially created an entirely new venue."

Intercom and Telephone Systems for Tipton County |
Northern Community Schools of Tipton County needed a new intercom to improve their communications systems. They brought in ESCO who impressed Principal Dave Driggs and his staff with their attentive customer service. ESCO was selected to provide the new intercom system. Principal Driggs stated: "ESCO was a perfect fit for us from the very beginning. The installation went smoothly and they provided excellent training for my staff."
While the system was being installed, Principal Driggs mentioned to an ESCO employee that his school had some advanced audio-visual equipment in their auditorium installed by a different vendor. Due to staff turnover, Tri-Central MS/HS had lost the only people who knew how to run it, and the previous vendor wasn't responsive.
"We had some great equipment but it wasn't being used," said Principal Driggs.
To assist, ESCO sent in two experienced professionals who provided hands-on training to Dave and his staff. Principal Driggs said: "We were very, very impressed with the quality of the training. They educated us and helped us make our existing equipment work even better."
ESCO prides itself on providing exceptional customer service - both during the installations and after - to ensure everything keeps running well.
Following the intercom installation, the school started bidding for a new telephone system. While the school district looked at a variety of vendors, in the end, ESCO was chosen.
According to Principal Driggs: "What really impressed me about ESCO is that they treated us like we were the biggest customer they had... and we're not a large school." Whether you are a large company or small one, ESCO values your business. |
